About Me

Hi there!
My name is Monisha and I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design at Indiana University Bloomington.

I am originally from Bangalore, India, where I worked on several design projects of varying scale and typology. I possess a wide range of skills combining art and technology, and what I don't know, I am quick to grasp, to the best of my abilities.

I thrive in an environment with diverse individuals and new perspectives. I love traveling and meeting new people, exploring different cultures, and living out the adventure. When I'm not busy working on my art, I enjoy messing around on my piano or taking a quick trip to the beach.

In a nutshell, I am a highly ambitious designer with a passion for problem-solving through innovative and accessible design.

Design Values

Accessibility & Inclusivity

My experience across diverse project types, both academic and professional in nature, has highlighted the significance of accessibility and inclusivity in creating effective design solutions for a wide range of users.

Adaptibility

Having spent a considerable chunk in the design industry as an accredited architect, I've seen the requirement for adaptable design in order to keep up with the evolving times and needs of the users.

Functionality

With a formal education in Architecture, my foundational knowledge and experience with form vs. function has led me to believe that a visually appealing interface must always serve the primary function of enhancing user experience.

Multidisciplinary

Coming from a business-oriented family with a background architecture, I think it is crucial for designers to be multidisciplinary in order to seamlessly execute their work in collaboration with all participating domains.
